Let’s chat about your bridal party! This is when the fun REALLY begins! I know from experience that all brides want their closest friends to have an AMAZING time during their big day, and I will make sure that happens! Bridal party portraits should be a ton of FUN! After you share your first look, depending on the locations and the timing of the day, your bridal party will join us for portraits! If all goes well, we will be able to accomplish ALL of your bridal party portraits BEFORE the ceremony. This means that your guys and gals will be free to mingle at cocktail hour if they wish! If there are flower girls and ring bearers involved, they can either join us for the pre ceremony portraits or we can take one final group photo after the ceremony, before family photos. Be sure your groomsmen arrive with boutonnieres on, and your bridesmaids arrive with bouquets!
In all the hustle that the wedding day entails, things can get brushed under the rug and pushed past. Sometimes it’s the bridal party, not intentionally of course but it happens because there’s so much more going on. Your hair and makeup need to be perfect, you have to make sure the rings are in place, you’re checking the time every two minutes. It can happen but we’ll make sure it doesn’t happen to you. Your bridesmaids and groomsmen are usually the first ones to arrive while you and your groom are getting ready, if they didn’t stay with you the night before. Let them know your timeline so that you’re not the one waiting on them. Giving everyone a clear schedule will ensure that you did your part and they can plan their part, too. Nobody wants to feel rushed on the day of the wedding, especially you and your groom. Over communicate with your bridesmaids and groomsmen. There is no shame in overly communicating. In fact, it’s better to do so because you don’t want anyone, even your family and friends, on your wedding day being late or texting and calling you with a bunch of questions or getting frustrated because you didn’t remind them about something they needed to know about your big day. Because although you’re the bride, you can have a bridesmaidzilla. It’s a real thing, I swear. These portraits don’t have to take super long. 5 to 10 minutes tops! We’ll make sure that everything goes smoothly and you have time to get into your dress and get to the venue ON TIME! We are suckers for punctuality. Your experience with us is extremely important! We promise to do our best to make sure your every need and wishes are met.
These are high impacting core memories. Your girls get to see how beautiful you are before your dress is on and after! His guys get to celebrate him and toss him around because let’s face it, boys will be boys no matter how old they get. We love getting to create these incredible memories with you and the investment is so worth it!
